We are raising funds for Out of Order Collective’s inaugural production, Good Samaritans by Madison Fargo. It tells the story of a young runaway returning home to find her family in a state of crisis- her brother’s face covered in cuts and bruises, and her mom’s twenty year old boyfriend naked in the living room. This is a pitch dark comedy about familial narcissism, God, and the alt right pipeline of modern American Christianity. As a collective, we believe in making accessible art, building community, and above all, telling stories that make your heart pound and your jaw drop.
If you have it in your heart to be our good samaritan, and help us bring this story to life, here is where your money would go:
Our goal breakdown is as follows:
- Talent Payment (actors, designers, intimacy/violence coordinators)- $700
- Rehearsal Rental Space- $350
- Set/Props- $200
- Costumes/Makeup- $70
- Marketing/Photography- $75
- Contingency/Back up funding- $100
This is the first of many Out of Order productions, so get used to hearing our name.
We thank you in advance for your patronage of the arts, and we hope to see you in June.
