Be a Blessing for Quell

Donation protected
Will you allow God to use YOU to bless Quell?

Quell is a 24-year-old faithful New Orleans girl, currently living in Houston, who has been in a wheelchair for seven years. On 3/29/2017 Quell suffered a car crash that left her car totaled.

Along with your prayers, Quell is in need of help in purchasing another car. We hope you find it in your heart to donate whatever you can. No donation is too great nor too small.

She has an amazing story of FAITH that we'll tell below. As you read it, we pray that your heart is moved to help her raise funds to purchase another car.

We thank you in advance for your gracious gifts and for being a blessing in Quell's life!

Quell's Story

"How Jesus literally sat me down, so I would listen to Him"...

Troquell Jenkins grew up in the projects of New Orleans. She lost her father very young, and her mom wasn't around to raise her. She lived with family members until the environment,  amongst other factors, made their natural way into her mind, prompting her to join a gang in the projects. "I would have fights  everywhere I went", she says. The crazy gang life went on until Quell was sixteen. At seventeen, a senior in high-school and eager to live a different life, Quell was shot by an ex-boyfriend.

The three shots paralyzed Quell. She would never walk again. Life only got harder. Quell desired a change and wanted to get closer to God. Her desire was fulfilled at First Baptist New Orleans Church, where she surrendered her life to Christ. Besides showing Quell she was loved, forgiven, and saved, Jesus did more: He gifted her with an adoptive family led by a loving pastor, Michael Chance, who opened their hearts and home to their youngest adoptive daughter.

Years passed. Quell grew in wisdom and love for her wonderful savior. She started loving missions and loving those who, like her, had a broken heart, came from a broken home, and had never before felt the love of a loving father. Together with her best friend Sarah, Quell started the The Bible Ministries to encourage women who were facing struggles in life. The ministry is currently fully active.

In 2016, Quell got an adapted car. After six years confined to a wheelchair, a way of transporting herself sounded like freedom! She learned how to drive and how to quickly set up and break down her wheelchair. Her mission filled heart was calling. It was time to reach the places God had put in her heart. Quell was invited to share her testimony in churches and events throughout the country. She also traveled to Nicaragua and Haiti, with one of her trips to Haiti being lead by her Bible Ministry. In August of 2016, she moved to Houston, Texas.

Houston has been a tough place for Quell. Although God has not failed to provide, living in a big city by herself in a poorly adapted apartment, has brought our sister to a place of full dependency on Christ. Even more so, after suffering a car accident that totaled her car. Praise the Lord, nobody was seriously injured.

However, living in Houston without a car is almost impossible. Besides the insurance settlement, Quell NEEDS HELP to purchase a car and have it adapted for her. Nowadays, her friends and family have taken turns to take her to work every day. It's not an easy place to be. It's a place of total dependency!

The next chapters of her story are unclear. Quell has prayed that God will take her to that place He has prepared for her, in which, she'll be able to fully live for her Ministry. All she needs is your prayers and help for the next step of being mobile again.

Would you like Help? May God BLESS YOU abundantly!
