Hi all. I'm Max and I am an alcoholic. My life has become unmanageable and I've come to terms with the fact that I suffer from the disease of alcoholism. Unfortunately, insurance will only cover 28 days off rehabilitation (just enough time to stabilize). As I proceed to the next stage of treatment at a 3-9 month live in, milieu style program, I cannot help but worry about money. Short term disability will help me along the way but the cost of treatment and peripheral expenses threaten to cut short my stay. I ask with humility that if you are willing and able to contribute toward my treatment expenses (including room, board, transportation, therapy, and the like) and a few other things (dentist visits, college courses, a day trip here and there) please do not hesitate.

Thank you all that have supported me through my life and especially those brave enough to confront my problematic behavior. I am over a month sober as I type this; hoping to make it a lifetime. I love you all.
