One Night Charity stemmed from the idea that when we come together as one, we can make a large difference for many.
We are extremely fortunate in the Hospitality Industry. We make fast cash, and majority of the time we spend it on useless things. But, what if, for one night, you donated your hard-earned tips to a charitable cause. To people who are less fortunate and in dyer need of assistance. Families who are struggling, displaced from their homes and have lost everything.
The first time we did this, almost 7 years ago, we raised nearly $13,000. 100% of those proceeds went directly to the victims of the massive Tohoku Earthquake and Tsunami that devastated Japan.
Today, this one hits a little closer to home. There is a massive fire that is sweeping through Redding/Northern California. The Carr Fire. Where 1000’s of people have lost their homes, their belongings, people missing and even deaths.
These people are in desperate need of basic necessities; Clothing, clean water, food, blankets, etc.…
Let’s come together and help make some people’s day a little brighter, help those who have lost it all, and be compassionate to our fellow man.
On the night of Aug 22th, participating Bars and Restaurant staff will donate 100% of their tips from that evening. We know this is asking a lot of you as we all have our own obligations and commitments. But, think of the impact you can have on people who have had everything taken from them.
As a thank you to the participants, we will be holding an after party to show how much we appreciate your selflessness and compassion. The event be held on Aug 27th (details to follow). This will not be something you will want to miss. You never know who or what might show up!
