Bombardier Hurley is survived by two children Luke, 11 and Matthew, 9.
This fund is intended to raise money towards Matthew and Luke's futures and will be put aside for them in the way the family thinks best.
Bombardier Hurley was a hugely popular character within the Battery, easily making friends, bringing a big smile to all both on military duty as a dedicated Army Reservist and off duty as a reliable member of the Battery social structure too.
He devoted 20 years of his life to volunteer reserve service and was also a valued member of his local search and rescue team. Bombardier Hurley will leave a large hole in the lives of all who knew him and will be sorely missed.
