Rory's National Youth Theatre Course

Hi, my name is Rory, I'm 25 years old, a young carer, and I have SEND conditions. I have recently been accepted into the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain, one of the most prestigious youth theatres in the country. I’ve dreamed of applying since I was about 12! I decided that this year I’d just go for it, and I was absolutely thrilled to have received a place! This is a huge step for me, and I’m really keen to dive into my passion for performing. But here’s the thing: the cost of the course is a lot more than I can handle on my own right now.

To join NYT you have to be accepted onto a two-week residential summer intake course after an audition and recall process: I am hoping to attend this course in Sidcup this August! Unfortunately, I still can’t afford to go without fundraising. I’ve applied for a bursary to help with the fees, but in case that doesn’t come through, I’ve set up this GoFundMe to raise some extra support. Any contribution, no matter how big or small, would mean the world to me and will help cover tuition, accommodation and living costs during the program. I hope to continue training for my dream profession.
