Wanda’s last wish…Trip to Washington DC
My mother, Wanda Seals, was diagnosed with advanced Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer in October 2015. She attempted chemotherapy treatments with hopes to shrink the tumor and offer some pain relief. Unfortunately after 4 treatments on December 25th, she decided to stop because the treatments were making her too sick. She is now in the wonderful hands of Alive Hospice here in Nashville.
Wanda’s father was a Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne in the Vietnam War and was killed in action. One of her last wishes is to see her father’s name on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial wall. I hope to raise $1,500 for my mother to take a trip to see the wall in Washington DC Feb 18 - 22. This will cover the rental of a minivan (for comfort due to the pain from the cancer…it is a 10+ hour drive), gas, lodging for 3-4 nights and food.
Thank you for your kindness and God bless,
Crystal Havely
