I'm cycling 300 miles to help the American Cancer Society whose mission is to to bring about a world without cancer. Founded in 1913 in NYC, the ACS set about to raise public awareness. The ACS has contributed to awareness around cancer that has resulted in a 33% drop in the overall cancer death rate in the United States; that's 3.8 million fewer cancer deaths between 1991 and 2023.
