This fundraiser is to help current and future war refugees in a small community of Bielsko-Biala, Poland. Members of the Catholic Cultural Association carry the effort to receive and host war refugees. In addition, they cooperate with the world-known Caritas Internationalis charity regarding logistics and transportation. The official (legal) charity entity is Catholic Parish Aleksandrowice in Bielsko Biala, Poland.

This fundraising is directly aimed at the refugees arriving in this small community to see firsthand how we can help and what tremendous work our contributions can do.

 

The funds are needed to purchase necessities for the women and children who escaped leaving everything behind. Basic supplies such as mattresses, bedsheets, clothes, food, medicines are required, and assistance with utility costs. This help plan is for long-term support, given that the situation is unlikely to change anytime soon.

I can personally vouch for the organizations and people involved in this endeavor. This is my old parish and the Catholic community I was a member of for many years. My brother is one of the members and reached out to me to spread the news and raise funds as more refugees keep coming every day (over 2.2 million in Poland only).
