Car Accident Changed My Life

On December 13, 2022 I was sitting at a traffic light in my Toyota Yaris. All of a sudden a big truck slammed into the back of my car and pushed me 500 feet hitting another car. Glass flew everywhere from my back windshield shattering. It was a mess. My car door wouldn’t open. When I was extracted from the car I tried to stand up. I couldn’t walk. My left leg couldn’t move. I am paralyzed from the hip down on my left side. I can’t move my leg. I lost full use of my left arm. My life as I knew it all changed in one minute. I was working as a delivery driver for Amazon, Instacart and Shipt. I was in great physical shape to deliver and lift cases of water, boxes of liquor and large orders. I no longer can do my work and have no unemployment or benefits for being injured/disabled from these companies I worked for. I am unable to work with all my medical care needed right now. My car was totaled in the accident so I lost my car. My daughter is 10 years old and in 5th grade. I am a single parent and her only parent. She is trying to help as much as she can. This is hard on her. We both need help. I am in a wheelchair. I have 2 large dogs as pets. II am 37 years old and need help to build a new life. My daughter and I and the dogs live in a small rented apartment. I would like to have my own place so I can start building a new life. I would like help getting around and getting to my doctor appointments to see if I can possibly ever be active again. I would like my daughter to have some joy in her life too.
