This is incredibly difficult for us to share, but we’re truly out of options and reaching out for help. Please help us avoid being homeless for the Thanksgiving holiday. 

My family and I recently relocated from Broward County to Stuart in hopes of starting fresh and building a better life. For a while, things were moving in the right direction. I was working two jobs, and Rachel also had steady work. Unfortunately, both of my employers experienced financial setbacks and had to reduce hours and pay. Rachel lost her job due to seasonal layoffs — something we didn’t expect to be so common, even in places like grocery stores

We’ve been actively looking for new jobs, applying daily — both locally and remotely — but it’s been a struggle. Despite everything, we’ve stayed focused and committed to our goals — most importantly, we are both still sober and doing everything we can to keep moving forward.

Now we’re facing an urgent crisis: we’re at risk of being homeless everyday, and we have no safety net to fall back on. We need immediate help to stay housed and get back on our feet.
