You Can Help Former Foster Youth Achieve their College Dreams!

The Foster Youth Education Fund (FYEF) empowers former foster youth in the Sacramento region to achieve their higher education dreams. Only 3% of former foster youth graduate with a college degree. FYEF is committed to changing this statistic and, with your support, can help scholars transition from surviving to thriving!

Our goal of $100,000 would assist with providing our scholars with the essentials needed to pursue a higher education. Many of our foster youth scholars are from low-income backgrounds, with over 90% identifying as African American/Black, Hispanic, or LGBTQ+.

Your contributions would help provide our youth with scholarships and resources such as laptops, textbooks, housing support and transportation assistance.
