Help Doug Fight Leukemia
Donation protected
Last week, Douglas was diagnosed with Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML). This came as an absolute shock to everyone. Douglas is 28 years old and lives on his own. He currently works as a carpenter. Douglas is full of energy and is well known for his abilities to help others. Anyone that has gone through this knows how hard this is and what a huge emotional and financial impact it takes on the family. He begins treatment this week and we currently don't have any idea how long he'll be out of work. His biggest concern at this point is living expenses. While Douglas is out of work it would be nice if he could focus on fighting the cancer, instead of Rent, Utilities, food and day to day expenses. We have no idea at this point how much the medical bills will be, but as you I'm sure know, will be incredibly expensive. Douglas is a somewhat private person and is embarrassed to be put in this position asking for help. I'm sure everyone of y'all knows someone who has been dealt this hand and how much it meant to them having other people root for them and help them out. No matter how small a donation you wish to contribute, every dollar would be very much appreciated. Douglas is strong, he can get though this. Please help him handle his living expenses while he focuses on the biggest fight of his life. Thank You and God Bless.
