Hi, my name is Wesley, and I am the treasurer of the BCO U14 Volleyball team. The team consists of a group of passionate players who love the sport and come together as a team to compete in Volleyball tournaments around the Lower Mainland and across BC. We have been invited to play for the Canadian Nationals in Winnipeg this May which the kids are over the moon about. Youth Volleyball in the north shore is an underfunded sport with the vast majority of high schools supporting only women's volleyball. All tournaments, travel, and other expenses for the team are carried by our passionate group of parents and we need some help to sufficiently support our boys, their amazing coaches, and some chaperones to make the trip to Winnipeg for what will be an incredible experience for the team.
Please help us reach this goal and let these kids experience a national level competition! Your donation will be 100% used to support this trip for the U14 BCO Team.
BCO Volleyball Club is a registered non-profit youth volleyball club based in North Vancouver, BC. It was founded in 1978 by Canadian Men's National Team athlete and certified Indoor/Outdoor International referee, Mike Rockwell, and Handsworth Secondary School teacher, Neil Salkus. Mike and Neil recognized a need for a grassroots program on the North Shore to help young athletes develop the skills and experience necessary to compete at the university level and beyond.
