UPDATE

Heather was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year. Being diagnosed on June first of this year she was medevacked to Prince George after finding masses on her pancreas. AT this time she underwent 2 major surgeries and had back to back smaller ones to get stints and drains put into her liver.

Fast forward a few weeks she ended up being flown out to Vancouver and ended up back in Prince George for more surgeries resulting in needing a full pancreas removal - this ended up causing them to cut out parts of veins resulting in internal bleeding and ending up majorly infected. She then came back to Terrace to recover and was needing to have gauzes and medicine shoved into where they did the operation.

Fast forward to these last few weeks Heather has gotten the news that she will be undergoing an IVAD in Kitimat on October 29th.

November 3rd they talk to the oncologist for further plans.

November 4th she starts chemotherapy at the Terrace hospital for 2 weeks & then has to do chemo at home.

They have gotten a hospital bed for the house and are in need of some help for medical travel and supplies for her chemotherapy, with the holidays coming up ( and colder weather) things are becoming super tight and we are hoping for some financial help to make her as comfortable as possible.
