Although this is difficult for Judy and I to do we find it is also necessary. Our hearts are heavy but hope and faith give us strength. In June our son Jay was hospitalized for fourteen days at Cleveland Clinic where he had a large tumor removed. His and our worst nightmare since he was 16 years old when diagnosed with ulcerative colitis has become the new reality. Our son Jay has recently been diagnosed with Colon Cancer and has recently undergone extensive surgery with the potential of additional surgeries in the future. He has begun his treatment for cancer and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. This new life has brought many financial challenges for Jay and his significant other Val. Jay is currently unable to work and although we are grateful so far Jay has been able to collect a small amount of money from disability to help with some day-to-day expenses. The costs, including his surgery and months of chemotherapy, are overwhelming. The financial responsibilities are piling up with no end in sight. There have been many decisions Jay has had to make in regard to his health and financial well-being. But the added pressure is concerning for Judy and I, not to mention watching your child struggle physically, mentally and now financially is too much for us not to ask for help. Our hope is to assist Jay with his financial burden so he can focus on his treatment and regain a strong and healthy life. If you can please consider helping us help Jay.
