Help Out in Nicholas's Memory

The second day after Thanksgiving, our dear friend, beloved father & loving husband, Nicholas Whitcomb, was admitted to Beth Israel Hospital in Boston in Renal Failure/ acute Kidney infection. We're setting up this GoFundMe page to help gather resources to help out his wife Taber and children Blake & Ella.

So far he has spent a week in ICU, a week on the med-surg floor and is now back in ICU with an infection raging through his body that the doctors can't pinpoint yet. Nick is a new Dialysis patient, diabetic and is fighting liver disease with all of his might. No one knows how long this hospital stay will be.

Nick needs Taber by his bedside and Taber needs to be present to advocate for him and be certain that he continues to get the best medical care. Being a single- income family, Taber cannot lose too much time from work - the 6hr round trip ride to the hospital is becoming an obstacle. Her employer has graciously told her to take as much time off as she needs, unfortunately no work=no paycheck.
