I know it’s a difficult time to ask for help, but I’m at a breaking point. Our landlord has issued an eviction notice, and now my small family faces the very real threat of homelessness. To make things even harder, we have a beloved 10-year-old cat that we can’t take with us if we are forced to leave our home.

Unfortunately, luck hasn’t been on our side lately. My dad, who had already battled and survived cancer, suffered a double pulmonary embolism caused by thrombosis and barely escaped death. My mom had to be hospitalized as well. As for me, I’m struggling with severe mental health issues (anxiety, BPD, major depression).

Despite everything, we’ve somehow kept going. My family ran a small agency for 30 years, but we had to close it recently after our main client dropped out and no new ones came in. Since then, we’ve applied for countless jobs, but nothing has worked out.

Things have gotten bad. No health insurance company will cover my dad because of his age, and he urgently needs medication to prevent another thrombosis. My mom and I can no longer afford our own medical bills.

Long story short: we need at least €5,000 to survive, pay off essential debts, and avoid losing our home. I know this is a huge amount of money, and I don’t take it lightly.

But I am scared. I am desperate. My small family has been hit hard by several blows of fate, and I’m deeply worried about my parents and our cat. I don’t know what to do anymore or where else to turn for help.
