Help a Veteran Replace His Stolen E-Bike

Donation protected

My Rad e-bike was stolen on July 27Th. I had a full knee replacement in April of this year and had just begun to get reasonable full weight motion. Riding my bike supported the rehab of my knee replacement, done at the Veteran's hospital, located 7 miles from my home.

The Rad e-bike was a major part of my transportation during the past spring and summer months. I could make runs to the grocery store, the hardware store, and transport my cats Astro & Pippy to their vet visits. This saved me money on gas and wear & tear on my older used car.

I am a US Army veteran. I served as a combat soldier with the 2nd Armored Division and did two rotations to West Germany during my service from 1974-1978. I am 70 years old, disabled and unable to work a full time job, and live on Social Security as my primary source of income.

I would like to replace my stolen Rad e-bike. Possibly a RadRunner cargo bike. Rad makes a sturdy machine that is easy to ride. The company is Seattle based and I have always preferred to spend my money locally.

Your donation would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so very much.
