Welcome!  This page has been created to help raise money for my wonderful sister, her fiancee Matt, and their most amazing baby Layla.  Layla needs surgery to correct her craniosynostosis which means Layla's skull bones fused before her brain was able to completely grow.  This can cause pressure on the brain and cause problems further down the road.  So, surgery needs to occur to prevent these problems.  It is scheduled for August 12, 2014.

Rachel has decided to take a few weeks off of work in order to be at home with Layla, who will be 1 at the time of the surgery, while Layla recovers.  Rachel will not be receiving income from work during this time and that's another added cost of this tough time.

Any amount you can donate would be so appreciated!  Medical bills have piled up leading up to the surgery, the surgery will be another cost, and Rachel not working will put the family in a financially-difficult situation.
