On May 28, 2018 I had a terrible fall that left me parapalgic with no health insurance. I spent one week in ICU and three weeks in a rehabilitation hospital. Now I’m desperately looking for insurance to cover my doctor appointments, physical therapy, wheelchair and medical devices. I also need help with transportation and finding peer support groups. I’m frightened to even think about medical expenses while I’m trying to heal and work on the possibility of ever walking again. Any support would be greatly appreciated.
