Jenna, 24, was first diagnosed with stage 2, grade 2 breast cancer at the age of 21. Not genetic, just extremely unlucky.
Jenna had to leave university to start treatment. During her 9 rounds of chemo, hair loss, lymph removal and mastectomy, she decided that this wasn’t going to define her and continued her final year of university!
After all of her treatment, Jenna got the all clear and smashed her university degree!
15 months later the cancer has returned, this time incurable in the spine and liver.
Jenna was promised some reconstructive surgery by the NHS, however due to lack of funding and budget cuts the NHS are now no longer able to offer the surgery and she is now having to have this done privately with zero funding whatsoever racking up a bill over over £6000.
Against all odds she is still determined to not let this disease define her.
Jenna is a fully qualified make up artist and hair stylist and after losing her own hair and waiting for it to grow back, she realised how important looks are for a cancer patient, how important it is to feel beautiful even through all of the suffering. She is offering free hair and wig styling to anyone who has or has had cancer. Helping them to style their own hair or their wigs and giving advice and support as well as offering free make up sessions and volunteering for Look Good Feel Better, all whilst still battling cancer herself.
She is an absolute inspiration to so many and has helped raise thousands and thousands of pounds for various cancer charities over the last few years and now she needs our love and support to help get her the surgery she needs.
