In September of 2024, I was involved in a car accident that left my 2002 Saturn unrecoverable, during the two week in-person training period of my new job, and my insurance payout was not nearly enough to purchase even a new beater car because I drove an older model.

Fast forward to week of New Years 2025, and I found myself laid off from my remote work position without having been able to raise enough funds to purchase a new car to get from A to B. This has left me in an unfortunate position of which I cannot get myself back and forth from any new job I may even get, and severely limits my potential to earn income. As a result, my partner and I have been struggling severely with making ends meet as I cannot contribute to rent or bills in a meaningful way.

For my 28th birthday (Feb 3rd of 2026.) I am asking anyone who is willing to help get me back on the road. A good friend has made me a strong offer on a new vehicle, $2500 for a down payment and I can use it in the meantime, or $5000 in full and I won’t have to worry about monthly payments going forward.
