Dear friends and supporters,

Earlier this year, I was diagnosed with two types of reproductive cancers. It has been a very bumpy road with delays, Doctor changes and treatment.

Things are progressing to a turning point as the doctors are optimistic and looking at my care and recovery in this "next quarter" of treatment, from now till May.

My health battles are still gong on and I now face this turning point as a positive. But this delay has cost me time I hadn't bargained on nor budgeted for as I hoped to be returning to work this year, like in a matter of months. As such, I am now finding myself in a situation financially that is adding to my stress, worry and more, something I'm suppose to be avoiding. 

I am looking for help during this time to keep my apartment, costs for food and medication as well as transportation for medical appointments. Also, any additional care I may need to cover myself outside of the province's medical coverage. 

Your generosity and assistance is not only appreciated but means more to me than I can express in words, as it is hard for me to even ask for help.
