In Memory of Jesus Uriel Perez
Donation protected
Friends and family,
It is with a heavy heart that I ask for your help, thoughts, and prayers. I work at the Loyola Immigrant Jusice Clinic that represents low-income families throughout Los Angeles, and this past week my very first client, Jesus Uriel Perez, tragically passed away.
After working with him for over two years, I got to know and truly admire Jesus. Although he was only 16, Jesus had tremendous aspirations and even greater potential. With the help of his loving family, Jesus thrived in school despite having to overcome difficult barriers and obstacles.
Since the Loyola Immigrant Justice Clinic only provides legal services to low-income families, this family does not have the resources necessary to give their son a proper funeral. So I have started this GoFundMe drive to help their family through this tragic time. Any and all donations will be extremely helpful and appreciated.
