Josh’s Cancer Journey

Hi! I am Quinn, Josh’s younger sister. This past December Josh was unfortunately diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer that has metastasized into his liver. His treatment plan is 3 months of chemo, followed by surgery, then 3 more months of chemo. Chemo is done every other Monday. Each round of chemo takes a solid week of recovery, followed by a week of feeling ok, then starts over again. During the first week of every chemo session, Josh has been unable to work and has already used all of his PTO. We don’t know what the surgery recovery will look like, but we do know this is going to be a trying road ahead. Josh and the family remain very optimistic about the outcome. Our goal with this fundraiser is to help alleviate some of the financial stress Josh and Bonnie will experience, which will allow Josh the proper mindset to relax and rest.
