I've founded the Youth Cancer Baseball Tour. We have established an affordable method and system to enable a child with cancer to go to a Major League Baseball Game. Pay their parking and some food for only $20 per child. Thank you for considering this chance to help me help kids and their families
I founded this project to do something for children with cancer and their families because I experianced a personal situtation that broke my heart and changed my life forever. In 2000 after the loss of a friend's nephew to childhood cancer I was devastated and lost everything. I became homeless in skidrow Los Angeles. After living in skidrow for about 2 years I knew I wanted more from my life and to make difference for children with cancer. I started planning the Youth Cancer Baseball Tour. 2010 we started our first year and since then we have taken groups of 25 to MLB games! You can read our complete story here http://AtMLB.com/10ApBRy This year we plan to go to Pittsburgh Cincinatti Denver Arizona Anaheim and Los Angeles. We take care of ALL the families needs while at the ball parks. Kids with cancer and their families deserve a day of joy and memories at one of these great MLB parks. Our budget is about $250/$500 depending on how many kids we can afford to take to each game.
