What is ARTSzheimer’s? A creative new way to raise money for Alzheimer’s research.
Why now? For over 100 years, no one has recovered from Alzheimer’s disease. Today, that could change. A neurologist at my alma mater, UCLA, was able to reverse the disease for the very first time.
Watch the video to hear how he did it.
How will the ARTSzheimer’s Project work? Art collectors, especially people with valuable collections, will be asked to donate one piece of art. They take a tax deduction. We sell it through Christie’s or Sotheby’s or another high-end auction house. The money goes to research.
Why do we need money to launch the project? An exceptional enterprise can only succeed when you are really careful in laying the foundation.
When you sell high-end art, there are a lot of expenses and dangers: transportation and insurance on the art, the legal ramifications for the donors, research on the history of the piece, a secure website, etc. We are starting the project here in Los Angeles, but the plan is to go worldwide.
You can be part of it. Please donate today. You’ll be listed as one of our founding partners.
Do you know anyone who is concerned about Alzheimer’s? Please let them know about this, too.
Thank you!
