Hi everyone I’m fundraising for my kitten pooka, he is one of the kindest most loving animals I have ever had the opportunity of looking after. All friends and family who have met this beautiful kitty can agree he is such a wonderful being. Unfortunately this morning our neighbors had found our angel kitty crying under her porch she thought he had been hit by a car. When we got the xrays done they showed he had fractured his front elbow and completely shattered his back right leg. Unfortunately to get this surgery my family and I will struggle to raise the money for our baby. Any amount helps and is beyond appreciated. Thank you to all of the amazing people who are supporting us and pooka with love and care. We will keep everyone updated on pookas conditions
Update 6/4: Pooka has not been taken into surgery yet, unfortunately due to the doctors availability pooka will be seen on Wednesday 6/8. Until then we are just hoping pooka is comfortable❤️
Update 6/6: My family and I have spoken with the surgeon this morning, they are hoping they can get pookas surgery done sooner then Wednesday 6/8. They will be examining pooka this evening and giving us a call about how we would like to proceed with the surgery. Unfortunately there are many factors that correlate with the healing process, and are family will have to make procedural decisions for pooka which will be made later on today. We will continue to keep everyone posted. Thank you for all your love and support.❤️
Update 6/7: Today pooka will be taken into surgery for his back right leg!!! Ultimately with the guidance of pookas surgeon and our familys decision, pooka leg will need to be amputated. This way we will get pooka back to being a kitten and our arms once again. Please continue to send pooka all the love and try to keep him in your thoughts today❤️
Update 6/9: pooka is finished with surgery!!!the doctors say he’s doing well and eating on his own. We are going to pick up pooka either today 6/9 or tomorrow 6/10. They will give us explicate instructions on how to tend to pookas wounds and we will be posting him and his healing process once we get him. Thank you for your continues generosity and support❤️
