Bayrok is 25 years old. He is a young queer immigrant from chile who recently arrived in Montreal with the simple but powerful dream of building a better life.
A few days ago, that dream was shaken by tragedy. His home caught on fire. Without hesitation, Bayrok ran back inside to save his four beloved cats. He was able to save them — but he suffered serious injuries in the process.
Because of his financial situation, Bayrok does not have health insurance or house insurance. He is now facing overwhelming hospital bills, along with the cost of repairing the damage to his home. What was already a challenging new beginning has suddenly become a devastating financial burden.
Bayrok risked his life out of love. Now he needs our help to recover and rebuild.
Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page is also deeply appreciated.

Severe Burn Injury – 30% of My Body – Fighting to Recover in Montreal
My name is Bayrok, and I am currently hospitalized in Montreal after suffering severe burns to 30% of my body.
This accident has changed my life in a matter of seconds. I am undergoing painful treatments, daily wound care, and facing a long recovery process. The physical pain is intense, but the emotional and financial stress has been overwhelming.
As an immigrant in Canada, I do not have full insurance coverage. Medical treatments, recovery care, medications, and living expenses are quickly becoming impossible to manage.
I am fighting every day to heal and survive this. Any donation, no matter how small, helps me continue treatment and gives me hope during this incredibly difficult time.
I'm from Chile, and im here with a Workvisa, don't have a lot of friends without family , new in Montreal with my baby's cats, trying to learn french and be happy here in Canada. all the money go for medical payments and everything what comes with the recovery's, new apartment, food, medicaments when im going out, still hospitalized
If you cannot donate, please consider sharing my story.
Thank you for standing with me.
