UPDATE:: We did it!!! Thank you for supporting Chloe!!
From Chloe:
Check out the photo above of me at 4 years old meeting "Princess Tiana." Now I'm 15 and want to bring that joy and awe to little girls all over the New Orleans area.
My name is Chloe, and I am starting a business called BAYOU PRINCESS PARTIES.
This business will feature all African American princesses, like me. For example, do you want an African American "Cinderella" at your little girl's party? You will soon be able to call Bayou Princess Parties. As of now, the only African American Princess you can hire in NOLA is Tiana, and I want to change that so little girls can see all princesses that look like them.
I hope you will help jump start my business. My goal is to raise $1,200 for my first two costumes (Princess Tiana and Elsa- the two most requested princesses). I will take the earnings from my first few events to reinvest into more costumes, and better market my business. Eventually,I would like to employ others like me to share the joy of princesses with children.
Business services:
- Kid parties:
Princess Dance Party (choreographed dance)
Princess Make-Up (with lip gloss and sparkles)
Princess Pictures (each party participant gets a pic with the princess)
- Business conferences and events:
Wave and Welcome to New Orleans
Quote from supporter: “Our Chloe will throw makeup parties, dance parties, and the usual take a pic with a princess. Chloe wants to show our black and brown girls that Elsa can come in all shades. Love this so much!l T.B.
