Hello friends, community, and kind strangers,

I am organizing this campaign with and on behalf of Baylynn, performing as Posezur. Baylynn is going through a difficult time emotionally and grieving, facing financial and bureaucratic hardship, and struggling with her mental and physical health. This campaign and your support would make an immediate and impactful difference in her life.

Baylynn is struggling to find work that fits her freelance visa's work area. She is still booking shows, but with a friend's recent death she needed to cancel several coming up. It's not easy to make a stable income within Berlin freelance visa work restrictions. And as you may also know already, artistic and performance work is difficult to find in this economic climate, and Berlin's cancelling of cultural funding is a further barrier.

Baylynn pays rent and bills on time for her apartment. I'm proud that she got stable housing that enables so much else in her life, and I want to help keep this vital element of stability.

Baylynn wanted to let people know, "I've been keeping this all to myself because I thought I could do it by myself."

and, "I'm not out here doing nothing, that even though I'm asking for help, I'm still going to be hustling as hard as I always am, working my ass off."

There is still instability in Baylynn's life, and as I can say myself, Berlin is not forgiving for the unstable, for those struggling with mental and physical health. Unexpected bills come for most of us here, immigration and health expenses are high, and I've seen the system mistreat many people. These are the expenses we can help Baylynn cover so she can minimize or avoid the further difficulty of debt.

We are setting the flexible campaign goal to 10,000€, despite the high end total being 16,850€, since we don't know the final amount of these costs. We know about the above expenses but more bills from the German bureaucratic system are expected. Baylynn wants this campaign to be transparent: all receipts will be kept to show where the money is going.

This campaign is about helping Baylynn with these expenses, helping her to maintain stability and advance herself further than just maintaining. Baylynn is incredibly creative, hard working, smart, and will make good use of this help. Baylynn's always helping others and supporting friends, myself included, and playing solidarity shows to raise funds for others in need.

So please, I ask that you send her as much support as you are able. Help her get through this hard time. Help improve her health in multiple significantly life-changing ways. Help relieve some of the stress and challenges facing my friend.
