Mission trip GoFundMe
I don’t know where to start on this. This is something I have been praying and praying over for for about a year now. When my dad first mentioned to me about the whole idea of a mission trip, I knew that’s what I wanted to do. I cannot tell u in words how many mission trip opportunities that were there but did not fit my schedule at all. This was something I was so passionate about! I know this is weird coming from a guy but a lot of nights I would get emotional because I have never wanted an experience so bad! Mom and Dad would explain to me that these trips aren’t easy to fund and there not glamorous but I’m aiming to seek discomfort while sharing the word of God. I have really felt this was from God. My heart has such a passion so deep for a mission trip. My dad and I were searching the other night for a trip and He got a text from his friend and I was really praying for the right timing because it has been a struggle in the past. I came across a trip That is heading to San Jose, Costa Rica (the biggest city in Costa Rica). I checked my schedule it was during the week of Spring break when I’m free. This was perfect for me and my Dad and this fell at just the right time. I felt a sense of peace that can only come from God because this was the only trip out of all the trips we have searched for to ever fit perfectly. When I saw how much it cost to go on this trip it almost seemed impossible to raise this money, but I know who my God is and I have a verse. “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26. This trip cost roughly about $2200 dollars and coming from a 14 year old kid, this seems so overwhelming. If you are not in the right financial situation to donate, I completely understand and I would just ask that you would send your prayers for the trip.
