The Baylor University Chess Team is attempting to send a team to the 2025 Pan American Collegiate Chess Championships taking place in Charlotte, North Carolina from January 2-5, 2025. The chess team is still looking for some help for expenses such has travel, rooms, etc.

This would be a wonderful opportunity for the players to represent Baylor at the largest over-the-board collegiate chess tournament in the nation. It would give Baylor a chance to compete with other schools such as UTA, UTD, Texas Tech, and many more strong teams.

Besides the chance to represent, the Baylor Chess Team would have a legitimate shot at winning their section, which would provide positive publicity to the university, and foster growth.

The chess team would appreciate any contributions and opportunities to support - large or small. We will continuously update donors on our progress, and how we do!
