Help Mom Kick Cancer's Ass!
Donation protected
Hi GoFundMe,
This page is for my mom, Minnie Bayley, who was diagnosed with stage 2 HER2/neu, which is a very aggressive type of breast cancer. She started chemotherapy treatment right away in September and still has another 2 months to go. Next will be a double mastectomy in April, 28 days of radiation in June, then reconstruction.
She supports herself as an Admistrative Assistant at the local correctional center but has been off work since September on short-term disability. She has been able to maintain her bills thus far, however, come February she will be on long-term disability which is only 60% of her wage and will not be able to afford her current living expenses.
We are all doing what we can to help and we hate to ask for money, but we just don't have any other options at this point. We are hoping that with your help we can make all the difference to ease her mind while she's going through this very difficult time.
To briefly describe my mom as a person, she is full of love. Not only for her children, but for her grandchildren, whom she absolutely adores. She loves to sing along to the radio and spend time with her many friends and of course her loving parents, whom have been there through this entire journey.
As I said, we don't like asking. But I know that with all your help, my mom can relax a bit so she can focus on kicking cancer's ass!!
