Baylee's Wish 4th Annual Toy Drive
Welcome to the 4th Annual Baylee's Wish Toy Drive to benefit Phoenix Children's Hospital Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders!!
Baylee Nichols knows all too well what it's like to grow up inside Phoenix Children's Hospital. She was diagnosed with Juvenile Myelomonocytic Leukemia (JMML) at the age of 13 months. The only chance of survival of this rare form of leukemia was a bone marrow transplant. Baylee's 4 year old brother, Brody, ended up being her perfect match and saved her life. Baylee suffered serious complications from the transplant and ended up in a medically induced coma in multi-organ failure for 5 weeks. But Baylee defied all odds and this November will be 9 years cancer free!!
In 2014, Baylee decided that she didn't want any toys for herself for her 7th birthday. All she wanted was to collect as many toys possible to bring to the kids at Phoenix Children's Hosptial to make them smile and give them hope. And Baylee's Wish toy drive was born. With her brother by her side, Baylee and Brody have delivered over 3,500 toys to PCH and have no intent to stop! With your help, we can make Baylee's Wish of delivering smiles and hope to come true!!
All proceeds collected between June 4, 2017 and August 4, 2017 will be used to purchase new toys to deliver to PCH in the first week of August. Toys can also be purchased and shipped to 5162 W. Van Buren St., Phoenix, AZ 85043.
While the past 3 toy drives have been special, this year has an extra special meaning behind it. Baylee is turning 10, which, at one point, was a milestone that I didn't know if she'd ever reach. She's not only reaching it, but she's conquering every obstacle that's been in her way, and doing it with a huge smile on her face. This little warrior is fearless and determined to change the world.
Thank you for supporting all the little warriors fighting cancer at PCH!!!
