UPDATE: Because of some unplanned housing costs, we are looking to increase our fundraising goal to $2,400 in order to supply our cast and crew with lodging during our shoot.
Hi, my name is Justin O'Neill, and I am a junior film student at Temple University in the Directing concentration. For those of you who know me, you know how passionate I am about each and every project I work on. However, this project is especially important to me.
Not only am I planning on centering this story around my family's beach home in Cape May, a place with a lot of sentimental value for me, but I am working with a cast and crew that I truly believe is capable of producing a beautiful story.
BAYBORN is about Zach, who falls on hard times and turns to the comfort of his family’s old beach house when he needs a place to stay. With no money and no job, this is the only thing left that he has to provide him not only with shelter, but a home he is familiar with. When his sister, Ava, who was left to be the owner of the home after their parents’ passing, shows up unexpectedly, the two are forced to come to terms with their differences, and take a hard look at what their lives are now that their parents are gone.
