Hi Everyone! Baya is a spunky five year old golden retriever who recently had a surgery to remove THREE blockages and had FIVE incisions in her intestines. Unfortunately the surgery wasn’t a full success and Baya will have to have another surgery this afternoon. For that reason we’re asking for your help!

In our eyes, Baya is not just a pet; she is a daughter, sister, caretaker and our best friend! We would never give up the fight required to keep one of our family members with us.
Instead of coming home in 1-2 days as expected Baya is now on her fourth day at the hospital. The fluid is building up progressively instead of decreasing. She has a fever of 102.8 degrees, but luckily there have been no signs of bacteria. These last couple months she has been through a lot, starting with a skin infection which cost around $2,000. The skin infection is better but not cured…. she still requires medication which she can’t take because of her current situation. The first surgery which happened on 1/4/17 cost around $5,000. Today (1/7/2017) we have been informed she will require another surgery ranging anywhere from $5,000 - $8,000 just for the surgery itself.
Anyone who has had the privilege of meeting Baya knows how sweet she is. She’s friendly, energetic, gentle, and insanely afraid of balloons! So please don’t send any!
Any help would be greatly appreciated! We will keep everyone updated with information! Please share with anyone and everyone! Thank you!!!!!!!!
