Bay Area Protest Fund

Hello, my name is Ashley and I’m from Hayward. I’m working with my friends Renee and Kiyomi to raise money for protesters around the Bay Area.

As police around the country continue to kill innocent Black people, we have taken to the streets to protest the funding of state sanctioned murder. This Bay Area Protest fund will be used for supplies that will keep us safe, things that will amplify our noise, transportation for protestors, bail relief, and other necessary resources as we fight this battle. Remember this Fund is about affirming the lives and humanity of the black Americans who have been wrongfully murdered by law enforcement.It is our duty to show that we will NOT be silenced. We have made ourselves public as an emergency resource for protestors in the #BlackLivesMatter movements.  

These funds will directly support those protesting. They are actively being hurt and silenced during these presentations and many require emergency assistance as well as funds to be bailed out of jail. Any of the donations not used for this fund will be donated to Bay Area Black Business Relief Fund to further our mission in helping our community. 

Our protestor assistance includes:

- Gauzes, Bandages, and other First-Aid supplies
- Tear-gas Protection and Treatment
- Hospital Bill Financial Assistance
-Bail Money
-Transportation
- Additional Support
