UPDATED!

My name is Keeleigh and I have made this to ask for help for my dog, he has lost the use of all 4 of this legs and now essentially paralysed. I was told my my vet that he had a spinal cord injury and he needed to be reffered for spinal surgery that was going to cost me £6000, so I started this go fund me me to raise money to fund the surgery. I have since had a second opinion and actually then had a consultation with a specialist neurologist who have both confirmed this is NOT a spinal Injury but most likely an auto immune disease called Polyradiculoneuritis , he will require Further tests and treatment to try help him get back to his self but this is a very long process and he requires help with everything (eating drinking &toileting) it has caused him extreme muscle wastage he can’t move anything over than his head and tail.

Unfortunately i do not have insurance!

I will now be looking for a new vets as everything I have been told the past few weeks has been wrong and I’ve been paying out vet bills for wrong information leading to the deterioration of my baby.

I have lowered my target as I still require help, although I am not expecting the full amount any help I can get will be a bonus! This little dog deserves the world and it’s killing me to see how helpless he is.

Anyone who knows me will know I’m unwell myself and have been awaiting a kidney transplant for 3 years so caring for a poorly dog on top of myself is a real struggle.
