The Vision of Bawa Shaheed Quran: Preserving the Holy Word with Honor

For six years, I have been known as Bawa Shaheed Quran, a name that has become synonymous with the preservation and respectful burial of unused Qur’ans across the UK. My journey began with a simple yet profound mission—to ensure that every sacred page of the Qur’an is treated with the dignity and reverence it deserves. Over the years, I have traveled to mosques, Islamic centers, and communities, collecting Qur’ans that are no longer in use, ensuring they are laid to rest in a manner that aligns with Islamic tradition.

In our ongoing commitment to this noble cause, we have been burying these Qur’ans with utmost respect in designated land, upholding the sanctity of Allah’s words. However, as the need for a dedicated space grows, we are now embarking on our most ambitious project yet—the creation of a Quran Park and Islamic Literature Center.

A Sanctuary for Sacred Knowledge

We have the unique opportunity to purchase land that adjoins our current burial grounds. This land includes two buildings, which we envision transforming into a Quran Park, a peaceful retreat for prayer, reflection, and Islamic study. Our vision is to create:

• A Dedicated Quran Burial Site – A secure and sacred space where Qur’ans from across the UK can be respectfully laid to rest.

• A Prayer and Reflection Area – A serene place for worshippers to perform salah, make dua, and find spiritual solace.

• An Islamic Literature Center – A library and reading space where visitors can explore remarkable Islamic texts, expanding their knowledge and deepening their faith.

• A Resting Area for Visitors – A welcoming environment for travelers, students, and seekers of knowledge to stay, rejuvenate, and connect with the divine message.

Beyond just a burial ground, we aim to create a center of learning, peace, and preservation—a place where the beauty of the Qur’an is honored, both in physical form and in spirit.
