Support for 13 year old Dreyden Hiscock

Donation protected
On April 17th, Dre was airlifted to Edmontons Stollery Hospital intubated and with severe burns. Dre’s doctors are actively trying to diagnose what happened while treating his burns.

On the morning of the 17th, Dre woke up wished his little brother a happy 9th birthday. He then jumped in the shower as he usually does every morning. It is believed he may have had a seizure while in the shower, and when he fell he hit the hot water on the way down. This is where he sustained severe burns all over his body. Dre is currently in the Paediatric ICU receiving the care he needs.

Dre is an active player in the hockey community, If you were to ask anyone about Dre they would tell you about his love for all things hockey. While in and out of consciousness he was asking what time it was and pleading to put the oilers game on. He is definitely devoted to the sport on the ice and off. Aside from hockey, he has so much love for his family, always showing love and friendly banter whenever he can. While in so much pain he continued to tell his family just how much he loves them while attempting to watch his favourite sport on the hospital television.

Dre’s family is in need of our community to come together. They are in need of financial support so that they can stay by Dre’s side without the financial struggles that comes along with it. Erin, Dre’s Mom is an avid photographer and human services professional. She is out there helping others in the community and now she is needing community to wrap their arms around her family. It will be a tough battle forward as Dre heals from his severe burns and they try to diagnose what happened to make him lose consciousness.
