Our dear neighbors Jeremy & Susan Batts, their daughters Kindred (9), Kassidy (12) and Kaiea (14), dog Zeus, two cats, two ferrets and a bearded dragon lost their house and one kitty to a house fire in the early morning hours on Monday May 3rd.
The Saint Johns Lake community rallied! You are all AMAZING! Countless donations of clothes, shoes, luggage, toiletries, snacks, gift cards, and basic essentials showed up all day. And many of the donations from "strangers" to the family.
The Batts family is overwhelmed with your love, support and generosity and is so very thankful for all that has been done.
This fundraiser is to help cover anything they might need as they begin to navigate rebuilding their lives.
The family has also asked that, if you feel compelled to do more, you make donations to the St Johns Fire Department, the men and women who came to the rescue.
