As a mother, it is hard to see your child in pain—and even harder to see them do everything "right" and still get hit with a wall they can’t climb alone. My daughter Calie was facing a sudden, painful infected Batholin cyst that requires surgery to remove a gland. Calie has always been fiercely independent and hardworking. She maintains her own home by herself and takes pride in her career. However, the hospital called just 24 hours before her scheduled surgery- pay $1,300 upfront (will provide proof of bill if anyone needs) or the surgery would be delayed causing complications. She was able to set up a payment plan with the hospital but regardless even with the payment plan as she lives paycheck to paycheck still working 40 hours a week 8 hours a day. This isn't just about a procedure; it’s about her entire livelihood. Without this surgery, a 2 week recovery would’ve turned into weeks- months of complications that could cost her her home, her car, and her health. She isn’t sure the exact deadline for the bill but if it goes unpaid for too long it could affect her credit ultimately affecting her future We are asking for any help you can provide whether it’s $5, simply sharing this post or even some words of encouragement to help Calie bridge this gap and to keep her on her feet. Nothing is expected but anything is appreciated.
