Battling with Leukaemia- 2nd time

Its been a while.

My name is Prashanna Shrestha. I am 25 years old, from Nepal and have been residing in Sydney, Australia since 2018.

On the 4th of March 2022, I got diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia, underwent intensive inpatient chemotherapy, few rounds of consolidated chemotherapy and then a bone marrow transplant-my mother was my donor.

Everything was going well until 2024 when suddenly my joints started hurting and I was not even able to walk. Then recently on 15th of January 2025, I got readmitted to hospital as the pain was unbearable. Furthermore, on 22nd January 2025, doctors advised me that I have relapsed meaning my Leukaemia had returned and I have to undergo the same treatment plan like before meaning loads of chemotherapy and then bone marrow transplant once again.

Therefore I created this go fund me page looking for financial assistance as I am not able to work, pay for my bills and pay for my treatment. At the moment I am in Temporary Graduate Visa, due to which my insurance will likely not cover the cost of bone marrow transplant.

Thus, this fund is very significant for me as I am in need of the transplant and also unsure how long I am going to be in hospital for. All the raised funds will be used to pay for my treatments and the bills.

I greatly appreciate your compassion and understanding at this difficult situation that I am facing.

मेरो नाम प्रसन्न श्रेष्ठ हो। म २५ वर्षको हुँ, नेपालबाट र सन् २०१८ देखि अस्ट्रेलियाको सिड्नीमा बस्दै आएको छु। 4 मार्च 2022 मा, मलाई एक्युट माइलोइड ल्यूकेमिया भएको पत्ता लाग्यो, गहन इनपेन्टेन्ट केमोथेरापी, केही राउन्ड कन्सोलिडेटेड केमोथेरापी र त्यसपछि बोन म्यारो ट्रान्सप्लान्ट गरियो - मेरी आमा मेरो दाता हुनुहुन्थ्यो।

2024 सम्म सबै ठीकठाक चलिरहेको थियो जब अचानक मेरो जोर्नी दुख्न थाल्यो र म हिड्न पनि सक्दिन। त्यसपछि भर्खरै 15 जनवरी 2025 मा, दुखाइ असह्य भएकोले मलाई अस्पतालमा पुन: भर्ना गरियो। यसबाहेक, 22 जनवरी 2025 मा, डाक्टरहरूले मलाई सल्लाह दिए कि म पुन: ल्युकेमिया फर्किसकेको छु र मैले पहिले जस्तै केमोथेरापी र त्यसपछि फेरि एक पटक बोन म्यारो प्रत्यारोपण गर्नु पर्छ।
