Battling Stage 4 Small cell lung cancer

On February 23, 2022 my mother, Dora Shepherd got

breathtaking news.

She went to the doctor because she had knots on her neck. They sent her off to do an X-Ray. The doctor called her a few days later and said to bring someone with her to the office.

My father John Shepherd went with her. They found a tumor in her lungs during the X-Ray. They set up a cat scan and also a PET scan.

On Febuaray 23,2022 she got a phone call while she was at work.

She was informed she had small cell lung cancer. About 2 weeks

later, she met with the doctor and found out it was Stage 4. It has spread to her butt bone and her kidney. The bills for her copayments are starting to come in. She has health

insurance, but it's not very good. The copayments are ridiculously high.

We are asking for donations to help with her copayments and further copayments.

It is hard to watch anyone fight for their life, but it is heartbreaking to watch your mother fight for her life and stress trying to get the money to pay for her copayments. This woman helps out anyone she can and would donate her last dollar to someone who needs it. She always puts everyone before herself. It is hard for our family to ask for donations because we are not

the ones to ask. We have always made things work and figured things out. This time we need a little help.
