I was diagnosed with a rare genetic disease when I was 12 years old called Tuberous Sclerosis. This causes tumors to grow in various areas inside and outside the body. My biggest struggle with this disease is my kidney involvement. I found out I have multiple tumors on both kidneys. One tumor has caused me many issues over the past seven years. This tumor was embolized with a coil to shrink it and was successful in 2017. However it started to grow again and this time was attached to my adrenal gland in 2019. I have had three hemorrhages from this tumor in over the years. The second embolization was done in 2019. Here were are in 2022 and the same tumor once again has grown to a massive size of 14cm by 14cm by 11cm. I am now having issues with my liver as well. There is a long road ahead of us. We are being referred to a specialist at UCLA who is familiar with my rare genetic disease. We will likely have the surgery done in Los Angeles. I am asking for any support that can be given, we appreciate all help and prayers that are given to our family. I am asking for donations to help us pay medical expenses, travel expenses out of state, basic bills like rent and utilities. We are a large family of seven. I am not working at this time while I await surgery and treatment. My income is reduced significantly due to being out on leave.
