My name is Braden Duncan. I have been diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome. I chose to stay home to work while my wife and children went on vacation. The day after they left, I discovered my legs were finally so weak and wobbly, I could not walk. I spent 6 days in the hospital and received IVIG treatment after being diagnosed. Luckily, my family came home the final day to take me home.

I pay for my family’s insurance, but have none of my own. I also rent a home and have no idea what to do if evicted. While we are current, this month is scaring us bad. So with no income from me, my wife is doing her best. Her income covers a third of our monthly bills, and financially and emotionally we are maxed out and scared. I have no idea when I can work again. Please help me.
