Battling cancer one last time

My last year of cancer journey wasn’t fun or easy by any means. It’s not something that I would ever wish on anyone. I was, however, lucky to be healthy and stay decently healthy through all of my chemo and radiation treatments. I avoided a lot of side effects and things which I was told could be a possibility. It wasn’t always easy, but having a positive mindset really makes a world of difference when it comes to cancer, or I believe, any hardship in life you may be facing.

No one likes a bragger. I may have bragged too much on making it through on the easier side, but I was also so proud!

Our world stopped spinning again this week when we found out that it’s back and back with a vengeance this time. I never thought cancer would be part of my life once, much less twice. We are in complete shock at how I managed to go from cured to it’s back and worse in such a short period of time. You never know what each day will bring when you wake up. My best advice to anyone is to live the best life you can while you can. Don’t sweat the small things, don’t hold grudges, just be a good person and pray.

We have never been ones to ask for help or handouts. We will help anyone with anything in the world and never ask for anything in return. The feeling like I owe someone never sits right with me. I’ve graciously denied fundraisers over the past year, but with the unknown of where exactly my next steps will be taking place, we will be facing a lot of travel and non-covered treatments by insurance so that I can fight as hard as I can to stay living life as long as possible. I’m working with getting into the top cancer centers in the U.S. and even outside of the U.S. ASAP.

I will do my absolute best to keep everyone up to date in the coming weeks as I get more of a definite plan and answers. Any donations will obviously be highly appreciated but so will all of the prayers in the world.❤️
