Battling Breast Cancer with Nichole
Donation protected
Backstory:
Just a normal day like any other, when it changed on a dime. I was in the shower when I noticed a lump in my right breast. 41 years old, no history of Breast Cancer in my family, and then there was this mass.. all of a sudden, this huge mass. Fast forward through a month of nerve racking testing and biopsies, when my family and I were given the news that I am battling the most aggressive form of stage 3 Breast Cancer. All hands on deck, it's time for the fight of our lives, and I need help.

My Family, my people, the ones that I live for and breathe for. They will see me fighting and never giving up. I will be there on the other side of this treatment so I can say I won. I beat cancer, and I will be here for the rest of their lives...

The REAL cost of LIVING:
I work as a full time general manager for a transportation company. I love my job, but at the cost of my health it has to be the first thing to go during this process. I will be taking a leave of absence for one year to focus, heal, and treat this cancer from my body. I will be undergoing months of chemotherapy, a mastectomy and then weeks of radiation to follow. My beautiful family and I will experience a complete life change as we know it.
NO ONE is prepared for the cost of Breast Cancer (or any cancer for that matter), but giving up my life because I can not afford the treatments is not an option. I want to be here forever for my children and husband. I want to see the important things in their life, and show them so many more life lessons. It is NOT my time. It is NOT an option. I will fight this, I will take my own hair (which was fun by the way), I will show them they can be strong. I will be the one who is singing and dancing on my surgery day, and I will face what ever may come.

But let's be real for a moment. There will be so many expenses involved with this fight. We are a dual full time working family and not having an entire income for one year will be crushing on so many levels. Your donations will provide something so needed during this process - peace of mind, and help.
We come from the hard knock life of if you need something, you go work for it and you get it yourself. But we have worked.. hard, our entire lives, and we still - will need your help. We are now in the world of understanding, we wont be able to do this alone. My husband children and I can not do this alone. We need help and support. these treatments for Breast Cancer will run into the hundreds of thousands of dollars in the end, so every penny will help.

LOVE AND SUPPORT:
We are so grateful for our army of friends and family. We are in our biggest hour of need and support. Every donation, big or small will help our family on this hard journey. Your ripple of kindness is felt more than we can ever put into words. You can also help us get the word out further, you can share our link to your Facebook timeline too!
With all of our Love - Nichole, Theron, Kateri and Talon.
